On September 8, 2023, I had the pleasure of attending an engaging online seminar titled "Video Editing: Zero to Hero using Adobe Premiere," hosted by the Creative Nation Academy (CDA). This insightful session, which spanned three hours, was conducted exclusively on the Zoom platform.

The seminar was a comprehensive exploration of the art and techniques of video editing, with a specific emphasis on mastering Adobe Premiere Pro. As it unfolded in real-time on Zoom, participants had the opportunity to interact with the presenter and fellow attendees, making it an interactive and enriching experience.

Attending the "Video Editing: Zero to Hero using Adobe Premiere" seminar conducted by Creative Nation Academy on September 8, 2023, was an enlightening experience that left me with several valuable insights and reflections. First and foremost, I gained a profound appreciation for the intricate art of video editing and the power of Adobe Premiere Pro as a tool for creative expression. As someone who was relatively new to video editing, the seminar provided me with a solid foundation and a newfound confidence to explore this field further. One of the key takeaways from the seminar was the importance of simplicity in video editing. Much like in design, the concept of "less is more" resonated deeply. Overcomplicating video projects with unnecessary effects, transitions, or overlays can detract from the final result. Instead, I learned that maintaining a balance and using these elements judiciously can lead to more visually appealing and impactful videos. 

Moreover, the session's live format on Zoom allowed for direct interaction with the presenter and fellow participants, fostering a collaborative learning environment. This interaction enriched my understanding and provided practical insights into real-world video editing challenges and solutions. 

In conclusion, the "Video Editing: Zero to Hero using Adobe Premiere" seminar encouraged me to embrace simplicity in my work and engage in ongoing learning and experimentation in this dynamic field. I'm excited to apply these newfound skills and knowledge to my future video editing projects, and I'm grateful to Creative Nation Academy for providing this opportunity for growth and learning.



  1. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input on a practical level (practical application of learning)


I can immediately apply the video editing skills I gained from the seminar to create engaging promotional videos for my father's tattoo shop. These videos will effectively showcase the shop's unique qualities, artists' work, and special offers while adhering to principles of simplicity and effective design. This practical application will enhance the shop's marketing efforts and serve as a valuable skill set for my IT studies.



  1. Positive feedback (on the event organization)


The event organization was highly commendable. The webinar flowed seamlessly, and it was easy to grasp the content. The organizers took the time to provide clear explanations before diving into the practical aspects, which greatly facilitated my understanding of the subject matter. Moreover, the speaker's joyful and engaging presentation style added a positive and enjoyable dimension to the event's overall organization


  1. Suggestions for improvements to be made/consider for future activities


While I found the training to be excellent overall, I have a couple of suggestions that could further enhance future activities. Firstly, I believe extending the duration of the core material in the webinar could provide a more comprehensive learning experience. The content, which currently lasts around thirty minutes, could benefit from additional depth and examples to ensure a thorough understanding.

Secondly, in the Q&A section, while it's valuable, it seemed a bit lengthy compared to the main webinar. Streamlining this segment and focusing on the most relevant and pressing questions could help maintain engagement and ensure that attendees' time is used efficiently.

Overall, these suggestions aim to optimize the balance between content delivery and interactive segments, making future activities even more impactful and engaging for participants.

Details of the event/activity I started May 29 and finished May 30, 2024, I completed an online course on Udemy about database migration using Oracle SQL Developer. The course covered how to move a database from Microsoft SQL Server to Oracle. It included topics like setting up a migration repository, connecting to the old database, checking the current database state, converting the database to Oracle, translating SQL objects, creating scripts for the new database, and moving data to Oracle.
