The event was a lively affair, aiming to foster bonds among students from various blocks, courses, and years. With a multitude of engaging activities and interactive booths, the party provided a vibrant platform for learning and entertainment, emphasizing the spirit of camaraderie and exploration within the realm of computer studies. Students from different blocks and courses participated enthusiastically in the event, showcasing their creativity and passion for technology through thoughtfully curated booths. The array of activities included coding challenges, tech-themed quizzes, and friendly sports competitions, encouraging healthy competition and collaboration among the attendees. These activities not only fostered a sense of friendly competition but also promoted a deeper understanding of the diverse facets of the computer studies field. The "IT Utok Mo" booth, one among the many interactive booths, featured a captivating game where participants aimed to shoot ping pong balls into a small basket, symbolizing the fusion of intellect and precision within the IT domain.

Database Developer - SQL Server/T-SQL/Database Migration

Event Title: “ Database Developer - SQL Server/T-SQL/Database Migration ” I. Details of the event/activity I started May 29 and finished May 30, 2024, I completed an online course on Udemy about database migration using Oracle SQL Developer. The course covered how to move a database from Microsoft SQL Server to Oracle. It included topics like setting up a migration repository, connecting to the old database, checking the current database state, converting the database to Oracle, translating SQL objects, creating scripts for the new database, and moving data to Oracle. II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings): As a student, the course for me is informative but challenging. I also learned the importance of checking the current state of the database before starting the migration process, this is to avoid affecting what's in the live database.
