I actively participated in a webinar titled "Creativity 101: Basic Animation with Adobe After Effects," led by Ms. Chardane Edda Martinez and organized by Julius Aala from MMAAP MIMAROPA. The session took place on April 20, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM via Zoom. During the webinar, fundamental animation techniques using Adobe After Effects were explored, covering topics such as keyframing, motion graphics, and basic effects application.

The webinar was an eye-opening experience. In the two-hour session, participants learned practical animation techniques like keyframing and motion graphics, gaining hands-on skills for their creative projects. Ms. Martinez's guidance made complex concepts easy to grasp, and interactive discussions allowed for a collaborative learning environment where questions were welcomed and ideas freely shared. As a result, attendees left feeling inspired and ready to apply their newfound knowledge to their digital design endeavors, motivated to explore the endless possibilities of Adobe After Effects.

Reflecting on the possibilities of implementing the insights gained from the webinar opens up a myriad of opportunities for creative expression. Armed with newfound knowledge in animation techniques, individuals can embark on a journey of bringing their ideas to life in a visually captivating manner. For instance, applying keyframing principles allows for precise control over the movement and timing of elements within a video, enhancing storytelling and engagement.

Event Title: “ Database Developer - SQL Server/T-SQL/Database Migration ” I. Details of the event/activity I started May 29 and finished May 30, 2024, I completed an online course on Udemy about database migration using Oracle SQL Developer. The course covered how to move a database from Microsoft SQL Server to Oracle. It included topics like setting up a migration repository, connecting to the old database, checking the current database state, converting the database to Oracle, translating SQL objects, creating scripts for the new database, and moving data to Oracle. II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings): As a student, the course for me is informative but challenging. I also learned the importance of checking the current state of the database before starting the migration process, this is to avoid affecting what's in the live database.
