I. Details of the event/activity


I participated in an online course offered by Great Learning on the topic of "Types of Cyber Security." The course was completed on May 23, 2024. It provided an overview of various aspects of cyber security, with a particular focus on mobile security. Upon finishing the course, I achieved a perfect score of 5/5 on the final assessment. As a result, Great Learning awarded me a certificate of completion.


II. Reflections on the webinar/activity give rise to (learnings)


The webinar provided a comprehensive introduction to the field of cyber security, covering various types such as network security, information security, and mobile security. The segment on mobile security was particularly enlightening, highlighting the vulnerabilities and protective measures specific to mobile devices. This learning underscored the importance of securing mobile platforms



III. Reflections on possibilities on implementing some of the webinar input on a

practical level (practical application of learning)


The things I learned from this course can be used in real life in many ways. For myself, I plan to make my mobile devices more secure by using stronger passwords, keeping my software updated, and being careful with suspicious apps. 



IV. Positive feedback (on the event organization)


The online course was well-structured and the content was presented in a clear and engaging manner. The use of practical examples and real-world scenarios helped in understanding the theoretical concepts better. The platform was user-friendly, and the support from Great Learning, including timely email communications and the issuance of a certificate, was commendable.


V. Suggestions for improvements to be made/consider for future activities


Maybe they can include Practical Assignments: Including more practical assignments or projects could provide hands-on experience and better prepare learners for real-world applications  and Feedback Mechanism: Implementing a more detailed feedback mechanism on assessments could help learners understand their mistakes and areas for improvements
